Page Titles

This tag is the title of the page. It informs the search engines about the content of your page, while it also appears in the results of the search engine pages.

The title should generally not be more than 7 words or 60 characters including spaces. This is the maximum number of words or characters that appear in Google results. If your title is larger than this size, it will not appear and will be replaced by dots. This is expected to improve in the future, but it is good that we are taking action.

The reason you should only have seven lines of code is that Google weighs the weight of each word in your tag. The more words, the lower they weight by Google.

This is why it is extremely important that title tags contain the main theme of your page and focus on the specific keywords that you have defined.

You should use the keywords at least twice in the description of your page. Try to create a description that looks natural and include at least twice the keywords on your page. Your description should be attractive and should capture the attention of users who visit your page.

SEO example to avoid:

“Make money from the internet, make money, money from the internet, make money, make your blog”

Over-optimizing and stuffing the description with keywords can have the opposite effect on search engines. Twice the keyword is enough.

Keywords and SEO

Keyword tags are another way to keep search engines informed about your page content. There are many theories about keyword tags and their importance. The reality is that keywords have no relevance on their own unless they are generally related to the topic of your page and are not in harmony with your content.

Yes, the keyword tag should include the main keywords of your website, but the keywords should be included throughout your page at strategically selected points.

Avoid stuffing keywords into the text. A keyword density of 1% to 4% is acceptable while above would give negative signals to search engines.

Robots and SEO

The simplest of all labels is the robot label. This signals Googlebot, the Google search engine spider, to access your page. In order for your page to be indexed faster and correctly, search engines send their spiders to access and scan your webpage at regular intervals. Google does this in two to three days or sooner. -In fact, there are ways to do this in less than an hour.

When spiders see the “all” tag on the robots’ label, they simply include everything in their index, even pages you do not want.

Although most search engines will not discriminate whether or not you include a robot tag and will scan your page anyway, it is a good idea to include it from the beginning.

Content is King in SEO

The best thing to do in terms of content is to eliminate junk code at the top of the page and put the right content first. In SEO, content has always been and will be the ‘king’.

Search engines read pages from left to right and from top to bottom. Too many pages used to have left-hand columns with links and applications on the left side of their page, before the main text of the blog. So, Google will read that site first and then go to the home page.
